Keith began his journey with Building Great Kids in September of 2021. Using his background in working with children of special needs, he was able to promptly implement his therapy knowledge to their day camp and after-school programs. As a BGK team member, he was able to assist children in improving their social emotional skills, behavior management, self-regulation, group participation, peer interaction, and overall independence. Keith worked diligently since then in collaboration with Building Great Kids ownership to integrate therapy services in connection with their corporation. Building Great Kids Therapy officially became a separate entity in May of 2022. Keith has spent the last year two years employed as a contracted occupational therapist in the Beaver Dam Unified School District, School District of Greenfield, and in the Lake Geneva area. In each setting he has been responsible for executing evidence-based assessments and interventions for students 4k-12th grade impacted by a variety of developmental and physical disabilities. He is an IBCCES Certified Autism Specialist and has worked with children specifically on the autism spectrum in the school system for 12+ years. He also holds an active certification as an ADHD-Rehabilitation Provider. Keith specializes in early intervention evaluation and treatment centralized around sensory processing with the likes of helping children increase their independence and discover their optimal potential for learning in all environments. Keith also has a passion for creating self-regulation environments for children who are impacted by internal and external sensory processing issues. Keith’s experience as a therapist goes beyond the school system. He has worked with children in outpatient therapy providing services in the clinic setting as well as providing in-home intervention.
“A major component of private practice therapy in my opinion is the education that is needed for each child’s caregiver. What we accomplish in treatments sessions should go beyond just the clinic setting and should be integrated in the home environment as well as transition to within the community”.
Over the years, Keith has designed evidence-based classroom and in-home programs targeting sensory processing, motor skills, pre-school readiness, feeding, activities of daily living, social participation, and child regulation.
“My purpose is to provide the absolute best care, treatment and education to every child and their family. As the population of children with disabilities continues to grow in many communities, Madison is no different. Building Great Kids Therapy is striving to provide a unique opportunity for families to connect with therapists who provide exciting and influential treatment for their children.”
Keith’s treatment methods are energetic, educational, and research based to get the most desirable outcome for every child. He utilizes a client-centered approach that peaks each child’s interests while making therapy fun!
Keith graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences in 2007. In 2008, he received his master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and is a certified licensed practitioner nationally, as well as within the state of Wisconsin. Keith is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and has extensive resources for families who need support for their children.
Keith’s younger sister Kerri is a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist and plans to be an integral part of Building Great Kids Therapy.

Hi! My name is Paige Millard, and I am from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. I graduated from Mount Mary University, where I earned my doctoral degree in occupational therapy. My capstone project focused on social-emotional learning for children with autism, reflecting my strong interest in supporting neurodivergent children.
I bring a diverse background working with children of all ages, including coaching gymnastics throughout my life and gaining hands-on experience supporting neurodivergent children at a respite center in the Madison area. These experiences have shaped my passion for reducing barriers and helping children participate fully and meaningfully in their daily lives. I especially enjoy problem-solving and collaborating to find strategies that support each child’s unique strengths and needs.
In my free time, I love spending time with loved ones, trying new restaurants, and exploring with my dog, Ripley. I also enjoy staying active, being outdoors, and traveling to experience new places and cultures. I look forward to getting to know you and your child!

Hi! My name is Ashley Thompson, and I am from Madison, Wisconsin. I spent the past six years living in Denver, Colorado and graduated from Pima Medical Institute in May '25, where I earned my associate’s degree in occupational studies. I am a board-certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. In addition, I completed my level II fieldwork in early May '25, interning with Building Great Kids Therapy.
I have developed expertise in managing tasks that require care, teamwork, and a client-centered approach. This experience has equipped me with the ability to provide compassionate care and effectively communicate with clients in a healthcare setting.
I will continue to apply these skills to support my kiddos with achieving their therapy goals. My ability to recognize strengths, address barriers while providing compassion and patience will be an asset as I assist with therapeutic activities and guide these children through their journey.
Thank you for trusting me with your child and I look forward to growing with you and your child.
